It's about time you get alot for a little isn't it? We think so!
In fact, we've vowed to keep it that way and make it our mission.
Because
We were two steps away from death, everything we own scattered to the wind. When it was over, we stood back and accessed the damages and were reminded of how fortunate we were to be alive. In the midst of sorting our remains, we found our dj equipment was completely untouched. Our animals were alive and not a single person was harmed. We were evolving a plan to start this business, when suddenly we were given a reality check to our place in the universe. Strange as it may sound to some, our view drastically changed when we became those in need of help.
Without forthought, we took the Lords Bible into our hand and prayed that he would help us find our way to where we needed to be. The bible was also in plain site in the aftermath.While praying, I was plagued with thoughts of getting here to Washington and making the big bucks as a mobile dj.
But it didn't feel right thinking of it that way. In prayer, I talked about how if given the chance I promised not to make it about the money. That we would help people like people were helping us when we needed it. That we would contact a local church and the schools and get involved and make a difference. It was a resolution of all resolutions.
Upon arriving in Washington via sixteen foot moving truck, after having driven 3500 miles. Survived an overturning of the truck in the process. We arrive with somewhere around $300.00 in our pocket and hoping someone would allow us to stay with them while we recover. Not only did it flood the day we arrived, but we were without a place to stay and about to find a hotel probably. When the Lord opened doors to us we never thought to see. A place to move in with nothing down, open arms from the local schools and business owners. In less than a year, we had done a few dozen events, got published in five newspapers and guess what, we were involved in all the best community events. I kept my word and I'm still keeping it. must be keeping his :)
In todays economy, what you and everyone else really needs are companies that help their community. Everyone has costs, supply, demand, inventory, labor etc.. The economy is raising our prices faster than the value of a dollar dropping.
Our prices aren't low because we're desperate, they are low because its about time to NOT let the almighty dollar decide if you want to make a difference in the world or not.

DJ NEEDS A JOB!
Pay me by the hour on a set schedule to come in and entertain you and your patrons on certain nights of the week and you will not be disappointed. You can afford me if you can afford to hire a cook or a bartender. I need a place to roost on a permanent basis.
I would be willing to draw up or accept a contract of employment for a set number of hours or days, part time or fulltime. I would not require a contract, but I am willing to negotiate into one for your security and assurance of my commitment. I could be working any job of any type whlie doing this on the side. I'd rather be doing what I enjoy and working for you at the same time providing you a reliable and professional service.
My kids are grown and all off on their own. Its just me and the wife supporting ourselves. help me and I'll help you. :)
